They came to us looking for a strong creative concept for their debut global advertising campaign.

Okta is essential for businesses because it protects what matters most: people. From who they are, to what they believe in, their ideas and all they offer–protecting your people means protecting your business. This became the core truth of our campaign.
From a visual point of view, Okta’s new brand only consisted of type, color and minimal textures and patterns. It was important that we introduce photography of employees and customers to add dimension to the brand and connect back to the ethos of the concept.
When challenged with how to quickly communicate identity security, we were intrigued by the power of cropping eyes out of images. This approach not only instantly—and literally—protected the subjects’ identities, but it created unusual, flexible compositions that could attract viewers at any scale.
